Some species of lizard also utilize bright colors, such as the iridescent patches on the belly of Sceloporus. So no, bearded dragons are no where near blind as they have to rely so much on visuals.

I have two bearded dragons and they do blink, but they usually close one eye and after a little bit they open it and close the other.
