yes depending on the type of snake, say we had a garden snake it grows to about 5 to 6 inches and can boost itself up to 3 times its body length so if it was 5 inches long it could hop to aout 15 inches away which is a foot and 3 inches so yes they have a fairly big territory depending on the snake.
