There are species of snake that are labelled 'blind snakes'. They are also small reptiles, ranging in size from 4 to 40 inches. Their normal diet is termites and ants. See related link for an example.

not all blind snakes are poisonous i.e. a snake may become blind due to an accident this does not mean it would become poisonous, and not all poisonous snakes are blind i.e. because alot of snakes rely on their sight to aim/direct where they want their poison to go.
