Can you put sand in your bearded dragon tank?

Yes. Flat stones make great basking spots! Rocks from outside should be washed before they are put into the tank. Make sure they are not small enough for your lizard to eat! This could cause serious health complications.

yes you can it will hold heat for them which they like and create possibilitys for a place for them to dig out a fort type area

Yes. They often like to bask on rocks under heat lamps but heatrocks aren't good

If I were you I would not put any loose substrate in a bearded dragons Viv, as they could swallow it, and it will kill them. What I've done is just put slate on the bottom.
