I would not recommend it. Some people say that beardies can be housed outside during the summer, but you have the dangers of parasites and mites, plus predatory birds (depending on the size of your dragon and where you live) and additional pets you may let or keep outside. You must also provide plenty of hiding spaces and shade and areas in which to escape water (should it rain heavily). You would also have to build some sort of fence-type structure to keep your beardie reigned in (you don't want him or her wandering your back yard). Overall, it seems convenient, but once you consider all the precautionary measures you must take (and pay for), you're better off housing him or her in the comfort of your own home.
