Bearded dragons primarily need fresh water rather than fruit juice added to their pellets. While they can occasionally enjoy fruits, their diet should mainly consist of leafy greens, vegetables, and insects. Providing fresh, clean water is essential for their hydration and overall health. Always ensure that any diet modifications align with their nutritional needs.

Yes, beardies are omnivores just like us. They need veggies, fruit and protein daily.
Yes, but most baby Bearded Dragons will not. They normally do not eat vegetation, but adults will. Adult will eat alfalfa hay, powdered milk cat or dog food, salad, crickets, flightless fruit flies, meal worms, and other bugs.

Fruit is not recommended for bearded dragons, as the high sugar content upsets the balance of organisms in their intestinal tract. So, while the dragon may eat it, it will make him feel sick and uncomfortable, and give him diarrhea. Stick to a good mix of greens, and small live insects.
Bearded dragons can start eating fruit around 8 to 12 weeks of age, but it should only be offered as a treat rather than a main part of their diet. Young dragons primarily require a high-protein diet consisting of insects and some greens. As they mature, fruits can be introduced more regularly, but they should still be given in moderation due to their high sugar content. Always ensure that fruits are appropriate and safe for them to consume.
Some reptiles that can eat fruit as part of their diet include green iguanas, red-footed tortoises, and Russian tortoises. It's important to research the dietary needs of specific reptile species before introducing fruits to their diet to ensure it is safe and appropriate for them.
They can eat any fruit or vegetable as long as it doesn't have a high mineral count so i would say cut it into slivers and try it like that when the pear is soft.
Are you taking care of it properly??? Do you have UVB/UVA lighting, proper heat lamp, big enough enclosure, lots of handling? Younger bearded dragons diets are 80% bugs, whereas older/ mature ones are 80% fruit and veggies. If you have done all this, maybe take him/ her to your local vet or exotics vet if necessary.Bearded dragons do not grow for their whole entire life. It is normal for them to stop growing around the age of 1 and a half or 2 years.BUT DEFINITELY TAKE IT TO THE VET. BEARDED DRAGONS ARE SPECIAL AND ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE PETS.
Yes you can, but only occasionally you don't want to feed it watermelon everyday it could be as a treat. Watermelon can be fed to bearded dragons but is not of much use to them because it is mostly water. It will give them the runs and cause them to be dehydrated. This is similar to lettuce as it is often fed to beadies by owners that are not aware there is no nutritional value in lettuce and it will also give them the runs.
