Yes they do.
yes
nothing
Like a dog or cat. They just lick the water with their toung. Make sure the water is is low enough for them to get to and stand in. The sometimes walk into their water!
If you have geckos as pets then you need to get a water bottle that has a spray function on it & spray the gecko. After you do, you will see it licking her eyes & the glass tank to get a drink. You can also spray the leaves & it can drink like that. It can't drink out of a cup.
no
The gecko drinks water. DON"T give it tap water if you have city water. Don't buy it bottled water, either. If you let some tap water sit out 24 hours, it will be fine for the gecko.Or you can use a water chlorinater, it takes away all the bad chemicals in the tap water, just one or two drops will do.
Probably; I've never seen a gecko in a Starbucks.
Water should be supplied daily for the leopard gecko as they do not require a misting daily, a bowl of standing water is required.
It's dangerous just depending how long the gecko was in there. but you could get sick, vomit, get diarrhea, constipation, and it possibly could be life threatening if it was left in too long.
yes they do they also drink warm water so if you find one in your sink dont panik just put them in a jar and put him outside . DONT KILL IT!
No, A gecko is not an amphibian. It is a lizard, and lizards are reptiles. An amphibian spends part of it's life in water, and part on land. A gecko is more of a desert animal. It does NOT spend any of it's life in water and CAN NOT swim.
In captivity, as breeders/ hobbyists or keepers, we are trying to re create their natural habitat. In the hot deserts of Afganistan the leopard gecko would only lap water from small sized puddles.
