anything can eat anything really like we can eat a zebra or a snake and even though a hippo is a vegetarian it can eat anything. SO in my opinion yes it can it would just really have to want it

With that said, they're big and powerful animals, and they will kick or trample someone who's seen as a threat, and may well end up killing someone that way.

Males fighting have been known to kill the opponent occasionally, with the accidental "lucky" strike.

And of course, if you're an insect, lurking in their favourite food, be prepared to meet a sticky end.

First of all, they don't really compete about anything as they eat different foods.

On top of that, an adult giraffe is something like 3-4 times the weight/size of an adult zebra, so there's not much of a competition there.

But Zebras can kick fairly well too, and could certainly injure a giraffe calf if they got into their heads to try.
