Do loggerhead sea turtles live above or below ground?

That really depends on the type of sea turtle. I know that the Loggerhead Sea Turtle spends it's early life relatively close to shore until they are matured and then they move farther out. When they are at their adult stage they live at the bottom and occasionally come to the top. Females of course come ashore to lay eggs.
