I just found a small round object next to some brush in my back yard. I thought it was a small ball, when I kicked it it broke and I then relized it was a egg. I'm wondering if it could be a snake egg. I have noticed some quail around here. What could it be?
Are you sure the eggs were laid by a spider? If not, garden slugs lay their round eggs in soft ground to mud. They are white in color and are opaque to translucent. Unfortunately, they lay so many eggs (one is too many in my opinion) and the eggs are slimy, they form small clusters of white round eggs.
Stiletto snakes eat rodents, small mammals, bird eggs and other snakes.
Wrong, a spiny leaf insects droppings is not its eggs there is an obvious difference the eggs are round with a white stripe and have a small cap on the top.
Have the same thing, would also love to know!
Rat snakes are carnivores. They eat small animals and eggs, not plants.
No. Some snakes give birth to live young. When snakes do lay eggs, they are usually white.
Oscar eggs are usually small white perfectly round shaped "eggs". After a while (24) hours (if properly fertilized) the eggs should start to become clear and light tan. I hoped this answered your question.
