No, don't worry. If you see a turtle on land then it's probably basking or laying eggs. It's best to just leave them alone. They might look dead but are probably just asleep. I have a baby aquatic turtle that climbs up to his favorite rock and sleeps there for a hour or 2 under the basking lamp every day. As you can see there's nothing to worry about.
they need to basket for vitamin 3d
Up too 200 pounds.
Yes manatees are mammals which means they breathe air
because and then you die so you end up in a grave.
Long-necked turtles are primarily found in freshwater habitats, including rivers, streams, lakes, and wetlands. They prefer habitats with ample vegetation for cover and nesting sites. These turtles also require access to basking areas to regulate their body temperature.
Turtles do no get pregnant but after breeding (internal fertilization) the fertilized eggs with develop shells. At this point the female is gravid (as opposed to pregnant) because she will lay her eggs once they are formed and the embryos will develop and hatch in a nest.
I would have to say NOOOOO!! snappers are aggressive and bit a lot and get much BIGGER than box turtles.also box turtles are land turtles and snappers are almost fully aquatic
Yes. The turtle will get exhaused swimming all the time, and even if the water is shallow enough for the turtle to stick it's head up to breathe without swimming, not having a spot to dry off and bask will cause the turtle to not be able to digest its food and fungal infections, outside and in, will occur.
their moms come up on land and lay eggs then their mom leaves
