When leopard geckos are young, you must spray them every once in a while, as if it is a small desert mist. This helps them shed. Once they are older, you just need a large, deep water bowl that it can bathe in. They are older and more adapted to their habitat and won't drown in the water like babies would, so you don't need to mist them if you get them a large water bowl.
