How can you tell the age of your bearded dragon?

you can see bye the size of the animal if it is small then of course it is still young and if it is large then it is older like 20-25cm is 2 years about.

But you never fully know how old it is unless you had it from day one you can try asking the person you bought it from or your local reptile vet and they can give you an approximate answer.

you really cant tell if a bearded dragon is a female or male until theyre approximatley 2 years old... if between their legs in bumpy its a male i think.. if its smooth, its a female.. inm not for sure but if you buy the book on bearded dragons at petsmart, it gives you lots of info. about these creatures.. You can also just ask an employee

if the bearded dragon has two bumps underneath its tail where it poops and pees then its a boy,if it has one in the middle obviously, its a girl,it really depends on how old it is...

Good question! hmm... I suppose it depends on if it is a boy or girl, I think a vet has to look at it, though if it is young (under a year) it will be pretty small and size will tell.

Look for pics of bearded dragons and see if your lizard is a bearded dragon or not but really all you maily have to check for is to see if it has spikes down the sides.....
