Geckos can also live in the desert they can only live in Madagascar which is wired and they suck stuff!!!!!

there are many different variations that they have created. Some will store water in their tails and use it when needed. Some are nocturnal so they don't need as much water. Many have very thick dry skin so that moisture is not released when not needed.
