They suffocate their prey - by wrapping their body around the animal, and tightening their grip as the animal breathes out. They swallow the animal whole - usually starting at the head - and 'walking their jaw over the animal until its at the top of the gullet. They use throat muscles to pull the prey into their stomach - where powerful acids dissolve the food, until there's nothing left but hair. The waste is ejected from the cloaca.
