well they don't like to be handled as they go blind because they shed there eye skin aswell.when there eyes go a cloudy blue colour you know it's getting ready to shed.you shouldnt handle your snake as much because it's might get scared and defend it self.the only time you should handle you snake is when you bath him in Luke warm water as its makes the skin soft ready for shedding.
