Male tortoises will often fight over a potential mate. Each male has a long gular shield under its head that is part of the animal's shell. The tortoise will use this to try and flip a rival onto its back. If the defeated tortoise is unable to right itself, it will die.
No! Keep it with it's babies for a month or two, without the father as he might hurt them :(. Then you can if you wan't it to have more.
they get on top of the girl tortoise
No but the time your tamagotchi is 7 or 8 years old the macthmaker will come and she will find you a mate
A Russian Tortoise could mate out of season, but you would have to adjust temperature and lighting in the terrarium to replicate the conditions of the breeding season, which is soon after hibernation. Sometimes, although not usually the case, they can mate completely out of season. Babies might not be immediate, the female can hold the male's sperm in her body for up to three years. If she does get pregnant, the eggs should come shortly after. Make sure both the male and female are healthy and well fed, otherwise they won't mate. Also, the female will most likely seem reluctant at first.
It means that all the babies it makes will look exactly like the parent and it can make babies without a mate.
Nope - they need to mate with a male in order to produce babies.
