An impaction in regards to a bearded dragon refers to the blockage of the intestinal tract. The mouth does not apply.

Unless you observe a growth, bulbus fluid filled sac, or other type of infectious site at or about his gums, I would not worry.
His teeth will not become impacted like a human's.

After 10 years I can tell you. Some do and those that do do it very rarely. I've owned 2 beardies for 5 years and I've seen it once when they got into a spat. Then I looked it up and there are some anecdotes of other people seeing the same thing, but very rarely. Which is good as its defensive behaviour and apperently few beardies are in situations that warrant such behaviour
