An American Crocidile acts Wild Around Other Crocodiles beacuse they are two diffrent kinds of crocodiles.

If it is a large crocodile the attack would likely be over (i.e. you would be dead) before you'd have time to react. However, if you DO have time to react the best thing to do is fight back vigorously, hitting the snout repeatedly and sticking your fingers in it's eyes. If this doesn't work, a last resort would be shoving your arm down the crocodile's throat causing water to flow down and allow for your release. None of these are guaranteed and the best thing to do is NOT put yourself at risk to begin with! NEVER swim in an area that even "might" have crocodiles, never fish closer than 10 feet from shore in areas known to have crocodiles, NEVER dangle your arms off of a boat in crocodile territory and NEVER reach into grab a fish you may have caught from the water, as crocodiles often follow fishing lines looking for an easy meal. Of course if it's attacking some OTHER human, try to get it on camera- for posterity.
"Crocodile" is a family of reptile. The scientific name of the family is "Crocodylidae." Within this family are several subfamilies, including Crocodylinae (which includes the true crocodiles) and Tomistominae (the false gharials). The true crocodiles are of the genus Crocodylus, which includes a dozen or so species. Some well-known species: * American crocodile - Crocodylus acutus * Nile crocodile - C. niloticus * Orinoco crocodile - C. intermedius * Salt-water crocodile - C. porosus For more information, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crocodile A crocodile is any species belonging to the family Crocodylidae (sometimes classified instead as the subfamily Crocodylinae). The term can also be used more loosely to include all members of the order Crocodilia: i.e. the true crocodiles, the alligators and caimans (family Alligatoridae) and the gharials (family Gavialidae), or even the Crocodylomorpha which includes prehistoric crocodile relatives and ancestors. For the source and more detailed information concerning this subject, click on the related links section (Answers.com) indicated below.
If a crocodile wandered near a strong magnet, it would likely not be affected in any significant way. Crocodiles do not have magnetic materials in their bodies that would react strongly to magnetic fields, as their physiology is primarily composed of organic tissues and fluids. However, if the magnet were strong enough to affect nearby metal objects, it could cause distractions or disturbances in the crocodile's environment, but the crocodile itself would remain unaffected.
They stalk their prey noiselessly and attack them at the right opportunity.
