well as the turtle gets older and bigger and the shell does not grow then it would be a big turtle with a small shell and you have to remember there shell is how they protect them selves from danger they tuck in there tail, arms, legs, and head . just think about when we humans grow our nose gets bigger our fingers gets bigger every thing does same with turtles........by away i have 2 eastern box turtles crush and squirt .......please leave comments on the discussion page OK good luck
