someone gave me a aquatic turtle its my only turtle and i have a tank for her and a container and a box with paper for my turtle to get dried my turtle has been scraching the box like if shes diging .if shes pregnet how?.what was she doing?

they are digging to get ready to lay their eggs and paper does not help turtle eggs have to be at the right temperature and cannot be moved and the eggs have to be on an underground temperature and a female pregnated turtle has to lay her eggs outside for what mother nature has to give them to lay by pebbles/rocks and top soil or multch basically a flower garden where they can choose the sofest and comfortiblest place and after shes done laying hers eggs shell put the dirt she had dug out and will cover the eggs as if a hole had never been into the ground! a turtles pregnancy is pretty cool! watch what happens if you have a pregnated turtle!
