Some don't even care for the babies. They abandon them. But others care for them like any other animal.
well depending on the reptile some dont care for them at all!!
Reptiles typically have limited parental care for their young, with some species providing protection for their eggs and hatchlings and others providing no care at all. Once the eggs are laid or the hatchlings emerge, the young are usually left to fend for themselves.
Reptiles are born fully equipped for life on their own. Eyes, Ears, Toes, Tails, Toes, & Teeth are all intact. Baby Lizards are born with an egg sack this will be absorbed into them the first few days to give them some extra energy at the start. Very few baby reptiles get any care from their mothers. Crocodiles/Gators care for their young for a short while but not for very long. Bearded Dragons, Cobras, Skinks, Anacondas, Turtles and so on, give no parental protection to their young. Some reptiles protect their eggs, but after hatching, nothing is done.
