If you're asking this question - I'm guessing you're planning a holiday ! EITHER get someone to look after them while you're away OR ask a local REPTILE shop if they will take care of them (usually for a small fee) ! Either way - do NOT leave them unattended !

most fully grown geckos should be fed every other day. There are some species of gecko that come from a dry arid terrain such as Afghanistan or Africa where the animals can experience a dry spell and go without food for a week or so. At this point, they will then start to feed off of their fat reserves that are usually kept within the tail.
