The average is around 66 inches (1.67 m) but there are always exceptions.
Most likely it is either a corn snake or a mix breed with corn snake in there. In many areas the corn snakes and the black snakes (rat snakes, racer snakes . . .) will breed and you will see either a full or partial checkerboard pattern on the belly of the snake.

I haven't tested this theory but I believe that they would definitely be able to strangle a baby and possibly even a toddler. Please be a responsible reptile owner and keep all enclosures locked if you have small children! :-D
No corn snakes won't eat cats when fully grown but it's possible it could kill it by suffication
Absolutely NOT ! A full-grown corn snake can reach 6 feet (182 cm) in length - though the accepted maximum is nearer 5 feet (152 cm). Therefore - the minimum length of a vivarium should be at least that long !
well it really depends on alot of things but i have a rat snake too. when they r little, u feed them "pinkies" or small mice. and as they get older you move to "fuzzies", "weened", and "full grown". you should probably feed them frozen because sometimes the live ones fight back and hurt the snake. during the winter, feed it once every two weeks and any other season, once a week. happy i could help!
