I have read that turtles need UV light 10-14 hours a day. What i do is when i wake up i put it on, then turn it off in the evening sometime, around 6-7. That gives them the right amount of time.
A reptile tank should be at least as long as the adult animal will grow, and a minimum of half the adult length for the depth. Height is dependent on the behaviour of the reptile - whether its arboreal or whatever.
it depends on the reptile. they are all different lengths. (:

It is a spelling error. It should be "Reptile". A reptile is a kind of animal that lives on land, has scales, and lays eggs.
As long as you purchase quality lights, your solar patio lights should provide adequate light during the evening hours.
Reptile eggs have a large food supply because they take a long time to hatch
I think you should. The reason why is that sometimes at night the pool lights should be on to symbolize that it is unnecessary to enter, and what if you walk around your pool and trip? My old swimming pool lights were on at least an hour everyday just in case you don't use the lights for a long time it can stop working. The downside to turning on pool lights is that it wastes electricity, but you don't have to put it on for exactly 1 hour, you can turn the lights on just for a few minutes, or how long you think.
