To be honest, no the reason is they are flighty and move so fast its incredible! I would suggest a Leopard gecko, they love to be handled, the only problem is they tend to eat crickets. And there is always Corn Snakes, They need a 2 foot long enclosure and may need a bigger tank when they are fully grown (5-7 feet) for leopard gecko you need the same size tank and that would suit him or her forever. A garg does eat a little more insects than a crestie, but the site will be able to give you a general idea. The tokay gecko has a nast bite, notice how thick the jaw bones are in comparrison.
