All of the members of the order Crocodilia are dangerous predators, and the Saltwater Crocodile is the largest, with adult males reaching 2,200 pounds and 18 feet in length. Avoid at all costs.
A crocodile's head is broader, and it has a thinner snout than an alligator's head. The alligator's head is also darker than the crocodile's. For more information, see the links below.
The crocodile has a more tapered snout than the broader snout of the alligator.
A crocodile's head is more narrow and the snout comes to more of a point as compared to an alligator. An alligator's snout is blunt - more of a U-shape. I try to remember the difference by thinking that if the nose is pointed like a capital "A", then it is not an Alligator. It's a bit tough to remember since it is a negative. Another memory jog - though negative - would be if the snout is rounded (a capital "C" is rounded) it is not a Crocodile.
the average alligator has a larger snout than a crocodile

Basically an alligator has a longer snout than that of a crocodile. Oh, and BTW it's alligator :))
yes
Neither option is ideal, but if forced to choose, an alligator may be slightly less aggressive than a crocodile. Alligators are generally more docile and likely to retreat rather than attack. However, both animals are powerful predators that should be avoided.
The crocodile is bigger than the alligator. The crocodile can grow up to 4,400lbs while the alligator can grow to about 3/4 this weight. Maximum length on a croc is about 28ft while an alligator is about 20ft.
hippos are very dangerous even crocodiles and alligators are afraid of them because if a crocodile/alligator harms a baby hippo it begins to cry and it's mother hears it so it's mother comes and sits on the crocodile/alligator :D also some hippos are more aggressive then lions
