are you putting your turtle into a separate tank when feeding him? sometimes this helps - but make take some time. i find it easiest to just feed my turtles in their main tank. maybe try "reptotreat" by tetra - they make dried, natural shrimp - maybe this will give your turtle the sense of something more "real" than the pellets but not as difficult as the minnows.
Pike are the eating machines of fresh water. They will strike at almost anything that moves in or on the surface of water. Minnows, worms, mice, insects and lures of every sort.
No it doesnt do anything good for you the inside does! So there is no point in eating it its taste nasty anyways.
Taking care of wild minnows is much like taking care of tropical fish. They need clean water at the proper temperature and ph. Wild minnows may also need to have a current in their tank, and they will do best eating live or frozen foods.
It means your cat is fine. It doesn't mean anything.
if she doesnt move then she is ill and if she is not eating or anything like that take her to the vet
If your turtle is not eating and you are giving him food pellets and fruit mix it may be due to hibernation. It also may be due to your turtle not feeling well.
You cant i have BOTH guides version 1 and 2 and it doesnt say anything about ending it and if there is a way you proably wont get anything.
When they are eating pellets and drinking and not dependent on Mom for everything.
If I'm right, the phrasing in the question is slightly misleading, so I can only assume that your intent is to ask why not all the energy in minnows gets passed onto the pike that eat them. If this is the case (edit this and remove if wrong), the answer you is looking for is:Not all of the energy is passed on from the minnows to the pike that eat them as the minnows have to use most of their energy, around 90-95%, just living and finding food. This is the same further the down in the food chain. So this way, the trout eating the minnows do not get all the energy.
Yes, owls do regurgitate pellets. These pellets consist of undigested materials such as bones, fur, and feathers from their prey. After digesting their food, owls expel these pellets through their mouths, typically a few hours after eating. This behavior helps them eliminate indigestible parts of their meals.
Baby rabbits will start to nibble on grasses and pellets at about 2 weeks of age, they really won't get much good out of it and may waste more pellets than they actually eat, but by 4 weeks they will be eating really well. Between 4 and 6 weeks they will begin to wean from mothers milk and go to eating pellets and grasses very successfully.
