Ok don't listen to that person they don't know much about bearded dragons. I Feed them 3 crickets a day each, sometimes more, sometimes less. As adults they should eat 3 the same except way bigger.

As babies, your bearded dragons should be fed a good amount of crickets, but you should try to feed them more vegetables. It is true that the younger your baby bearded dragons are, the more protein from insects they need; but if you do not get them started on greens, they will not want to eat them as much when they get older. You should probably feed them crickets twice or three times a week, and try to feed them vegetables every other day in order to provide them with the right nutrients

What to feed your baby bearded dragon?

The best diet for a baby bearded dragon is what they call "pinhead crickets" which are basically really tiny crickets. They also need fresh greens like romaine lettuce and need to be misted several times a day for the first couple of weeks after they are hatched. As they get bigger they stop needing to be misted because they get moisture from their greens. You may also want to think about a calcium supplement powder to sprinkle onto the crickets as well as the greens. The most important thing to remember about bearded dragons is that they are desert lizards and need high heat as well as high levels of UVB light to thrive. If they do not have both of these they will die.

Bearded dragon is not growing what do you do?

Are you taking care of it properly??? Do you have UVB/UVA lighting, proper heat lamp, big enough enclosure, lots of handling? Younger bearded dragons diets are 80% bugs, whereas older/ mature ones are 80% fruit and veggies. If you have done all this, maybe take him/ her to your local vet or exotics vet if necessary.Bearded dragons do not grow for their whole entire life. It is normal for them to stop growing around the age of 1 and a half or 2 years.BUT DEFINITELY TAKE IT TO THE VET. BEARDED DRAGONS ARE SPECIAL AND ONE OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE PETS.

Is it ok to feed a bearded dragon 5 crickets as a baby?

Feed them as many as they will eat. They will not over eat, they will stop when they are full. Just make sure the crickets are the correct size for the size of the dragon; basically the cricket needs to be able to fit in the dragons mouth sideways. If you feed them too big of cricketts it can cause some stomache upset and other problems. I have a dragon that is 7 months old and eats 150 crickets in less than a week, yes she is eating her greens too. They eat like crazy when they are growing, they slow down once they are full grown. When full grown they also eat less cricketts and more greens. I hope this helps you.
