Leatherback turtles inhabit a range of marine environments, primarily in temperate and tropical ocean waters. They share their habitat with various marine species, including jellyfish (their main food source), other sea turtles, sharks, and numerous fish species. Additionally, they may encounter marine mammals such as dolphins and whales in these regions. Coastal areas where they nest also host seabirds and other shoreline wildlife.
