House geckos love cockroaches, crickets are their second favorite.
They also eat mealworms and silkworms/waxworms but, cut the heads off of the worms because they can bite through the geckos insides/outside. They mainly only eat live insects but sometimes they eat banana slices or mangoes.
Make sure you gut (feed) the insects before you give them to the gecko. never feed them wild insects because they carry diseases OFTEN. Make sure also to put calcium powder on the insects before you feed the gecko. Only do this about twice a week (read directions to make sure).
P.S-make sure the food is no wider than the gecko's jaw, don't feed him adult crickets or big cockroaches.
