All turtles' heads look different, but they all do have some similarities. They are all oval and scaly, with an eardrum covered by a thin patch of skin on each side of the head. They have a beak and two nostrils, dark almond eyes, and a softer neck made of tinier scales. They have no teeth, and underneath the head, below the chin, the skin is fine and soft.
