Hypothalamus does so many important purposes. 1.Produces ADH and Oxytosin hormones. 2.Controls sleep and awake. 3.Controls production of hormones byposterior pitutory. 4.Controls hunger and thirst. 5.Maintains body temperature. 6.Maintains water balance.
