nothing really, the terapin would kill the other sea creature within minuites of it arriving.Trust me... it happened and all i saw was the water start to turn red... took alot of cleaning out. :(
It is not recommended to house terrapins and fish in the same tank as terrapins are known to eat fish. Additionally, terrapins require different water conditions, such as a basking area, which may not be suitable for fish. It is best to keep them in separate tanks to ensure the well-being of both species.
Terrapins lay their eggs on land.
Fish
they just settle at the bottom of fish tank
i payed about £150 for my tank, filter, ledge (for them to climb out of the water), heater and the terrapins themselves i got two loll
Terrapins, which are a type of turtle that lives both in water and on land, can potentially be kept in a fish tank, but there are several considerations. They require ample space, access to land for basking, and specific water conditions to thrive. Additionally, terrapins may eat smaller fish, so it's important to select tank mates carefully. Overall, a specialized setup mimicking their natural habitat is recommended for their well-being.
When u tap into the fish tank, you cause tiny waves to form that scare the fish.
Water, for starters.
You simply take any fish and drag it to the bottom of the tank and then drag it up (fastly) and it will go soaring!
Make sure the pleco is larger or of the same size as the terrapin, else it will get bullied by the terrapins, pleco's tail is a irresistible bait for the terrapin.
No. They will eat them. They eat fish in the wild, too.
