Bearded dragons love to hunt crickets. Store bought crickets are best because it is very unlikely that they have been sprayed with pesticides. If your beardie is loosing weight, you could give them wax worms, which are like candy to them, this gives them a little fat. Older beardies will eat small mice, but i do not recommend them. beardies will eat anything that could be considered food, but that doesn't mean they should. before feeding something new to your beardie, always research it a bit before you even buy it. it could be a mater of life or death of your beardie.
Both. They are predator to smaller creatures then themselves and yet prey to bigger creatures then themselves
Depends on the situation. In captivity, they are predators. In the wild, they are both - they prey on insects, and are preyed upon by animals such as wild-dogs, birds of prey, snakes etc.
