Bearded Dragons don't have family lives, other then humans. They come together to mate, go their own ways where the female lays her eggs and then she leaves as well. The babies are on their own from day 1 and the cycle starts all over again when their old enough.

It depends on what type of lizard you are talking about but some lizards such as five lined skinks will warm their body in the sun and then wrap their body around the eggs to keep them warm. They have also been known to feed insects to their baby's.
