I'd have to open this answer with a question - How much do you know about snakes ?
There are many popular species of 'pet' snakes - some take more looking after than others. Some have unusual dietary needs. Some have specialist habitat requirements. My suggestion would have to be - PLEASE do some research !
It's no good buying a snake, putting it in an old (empty) fish tank and expect it to survive - it wont !
