No; sexing snakes is for experts, as it requires finding the vent and locating "spurs" inside on the male.
Yes, ball pythons require a moist and humid enclosure. Pine absorbs the moisture and this can increase the chances of your ball python getting a respiratory infection and having a retained shed. Retained shed is where the snake does not shed all of their skin. This can lead to moth rot, tip of the tail falling off, eye caps and much much more. Cyprus Mulch, cellsorb and newspaper are the best beddings for a ball python.
Python regius is the scientific name for the ball python, a nonvenomous snake species native to Africa. They are known for their docile nature, modest size, and distinctive coloration patterns that vary among individuals. Ball pythons are popular in the pet trade due to their manageable size and gentle demeanor.
Hemipenes are two penises. All snakes have them. So do lizards and sharks. They're at the base of the tail and they're pulled out by a muscle above the tail at mating. Only one is used and it "expands" once he has penetrated the female.
They would never meet in the wild, as they are from completely different countries. Therefore - the only way to find out would be to put them together in the same enclosure. However - they are more likely to attempt to get as far away from each other than 'stand and fight'
You can find their tail and gently pull away, outwards from your body part. They are strong but they have no leverage if you pull away. They also will move if you play with their tail. I find that that annoys them.If you are not hurt by the snake, it is perfectly okay to let them wrap around you.
To make it's tail shorter.
Yes :) it is not toxic to them. Many popular breeder cages and racks are made of PVC. My black pastel ball python, Nuova, has a jungle gym made of PVC that he loves to climb on. It takes up very little volume even though it is throughout most of his terrarium. Piping and connection pieces combined, there's over nine feet of pipe. Very easy to make even without glue. I highly recommend it!
The ball on the tip of a ferrets tail is called a chordoma and needs to be removed by a veterinarian
