i have a corn snake & i feed it every wensday but here is a tip for you take the snake out of the cage and put the snake in the box when you feed it and wait till its half way down the snake then put it back in the cage i do this because every time you take the snake out to play with it the snake will think its food time and might charge at you but please make sure the snakes food is half way down if not and you pick it up it will throw it back up and mess up the snakes food schedule . (:
Dont be a baby
pinkies, fuzzies, crews, adult.
For baby corn snakes you should feed them 'Pinkies' (two day old mice). For sub-adults you feed them 'fuzzies' (Juvernile Mice). For adults you feed corn snakes Adult Mice. For adult corn snakes they like to eat rats
This is unlikely but the possibility exists. It is important that they are kept separate at feeding time and that there is plenty of space in the enclosure.
At least 24 hours after feeding it
They eat fuzzies and pinkies. When they get older they eat medium mice and large mice.
It is simply called a baby tiger snake.
Neonate snake, Juvenile snake, or Baby snake.
Yes you can switch to formula. However, its better to breast feed the baby because breast milk can help in the development in the baby's immune system. Plus the best thing about breast feeding your baby is that it really helps the mother lose a lot of weight after the baby is born. But if you are breast feeding make sure to keep an eye on your baby to decrease a chance of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), the mother's breast may "smother" her baby by accident. while the baby is being fed, if the baby is held too tight to the breast of the mother, she may be covering its nose and the baby may not be able to breath and suffocate.
Depending on the type of snake baby snakes should eat about 10 to 15 crickets but I do not recommend this I would much rather you buy a baby mouse and drop it in the tank with your snake and you should do this once a week. And try to do it on the same day each week
To prevent a baby from favoring one side during feeding or sleeping, parents can alternate the side they hold the baby on, switch the direction of the baby's head, and change the position of the baby's crib or bassinet regularly. This helps to encourage balanced development and prevent any potential issues from favoring one side.
If your baby spits up after every feeding, try feeding smaller amounts more frequently, burping your baby frequently during feedings, keeping your baby upright after feeding, and talking to your pediatrician about possible causes and solutions.
