I am trying to figure out the same thing about my turtle. I found him at the beach (and no he's not a sea turtle) about a year and a half ago, and he is still only about 2 inches big. I find that my Baby Turtles have their own personalities, I have 3 red Ear sliders, 3 yrs, 1yr, 8mos old. My babies like to play with each other most of the time. Turtles are community animals, they should be in pairs.
