Often, snake species that do not consume rodents will consume a few things, rather than a single food source.

Find out your species for sure and see what other things they eat, as some of their preferred food can be easier to acquire than others.

I have a northern brown snake. it does not eat mice, or eggs, but primarily worms, slugs and soft bodied insects, such as grubs, or maggots.
