The creator of MGS 4 said that if there is then someone else would make it because he doesn't have any more Ideas. But if there is then it would proberly be before Snake dies (apperently he cells have been mutated in MGS 4 but I don't know due to not playing on MGS 4 yet), playing as Raiden or a Reboot of the entire series.

Solidus was a perfect clone of Big Boss but supposedly died during the Big Shell incident. Solidus's body was persevered and body part's from him where given to Big Boss himself along with Liquids body parts. Also Solidus was used as a decoy Big Boss in Eastern Europe. Big Boss almost died in Zanzibarland but was preserved by Zero until he got out in the end of MGS4. Solidus and Big Boss have never met and Solidus lost his left eye while Big Boss lost his right. Solidus may be a clone of Big Boss but they're not the same person. The only one of the brothers to actually me Big Boss was Solid Snake. Also are you kidding or are you gravely confused?

In Metal Gear Solid 3 Mr. Kojima and his company decided to use the facial structure and voice of Solid Snake to let the fans recognize that Naked Snake is the "Father" of Solid and Liquid Snake. But because Big Boss is older now the made him look like Solidus. Solidus is actually a genetic copy of Big Boss sometime in his 50's, 60's, or 70's. That is why he looks more like Solidus in MGS4. Technically both, even though they are different people. Naked Snake was the main character in Snake Eater (which took place in 1964). Solid Snake is the main character in most of the others, and he was born in 1972. Naked Snake later became Big Boss. Solid, Liquid, and Solidus Snake were all cloned off of him in the Les Enfante Terribles (Terrible Children) Project. Solid Snake is the main character and hero in the series, though. Big Boss was the main character in a few of them to give backstory.
