There are different species that command different prices but most are fairly common in the wild and can be found frequently enough to discourage anyone from paying for one unless they want a captive bred turtle, live in a state requiring a permit to own or don't know what they are doing and you shouldn't sell a turtle to someone like that because they require special care to remain healthy and live a long life which can be as long as 100 years.
