Bearded Dragons are a DESERT species.
In their natural habitat, most of the day s spent sheltering from the hot desert sun. Occasionally, they will bask in the heat of the sun to warm their bodies prior to hunting for insects (their primary food).
Their main activity times are dusk and dawn, when the temperature is not too hot.
i got a bearded dragn a few days ago and he is really easy to care for and he loves attention i heard leapord geckos are nocturnal so they sleep during the day and that wont be much fun so i will go for the beardie
by shaving off its beard so the enemies think that it is an un-bearded dragon making it look fiercer
I shouldn't think so - due to the size difference !
there is a lot of prices for a bearded dragon the lowest is probobly about $10 the highest they can get is any number ubove 10$.
i have had my bearded dragon for 2 years and so far he's never bitten me. i even taught him how to eat food out of my hand!
right when you get it. you want to bond with it as much as you can so its not so skiddish. about 2 to 3 times a day hold it.
Did it also have the correct heating for the bearded dragon, like a heat lamp and heating pad? If it didn't, then your bearded dragon probably froze to death. Where did you get the bearded dragon from? If it was from a pet store, that will explain it too. Pet stores don't take care of their animals well usually so they are usually sold sick and or very unhealthy
Has its surroundings, feed, handling time, or temperatures changed? Any of these can affect your dragon's moods. Is your dragon shedding? Their skin will get tender during this time, so try not to handle it too much.
Yes, bearded dragons can eat kiwi but only ever so often because kiwi is high in oxalates which binds with calcium. So to answer your question you can feed your bearded dragon kiwi, just not every day.
yes as i own a bearded dragon and give him cabbage, broccoli and CELERY so yes bearded dragons do eat celery
They can get up to 24 inches. so about 2 feet.
The lowest a bearded dragon can cost in total would be 170+(crickets,sand,lighting,tank,bearded dragon, power bill of lighting.)as if its a baby , they eat WAYY more so a baby is 300$+ and an adult would be 170$+.Hope this helps!
