Why is your leopard gecko turning green?

Many geckos including leopard geckos change color when they are startled. It`s possible that they are using their instict. In the wild the try to blend in to the envirment to hunt bugs. I once had a leopard gecko and he turned pink when his tail was stuck under his plastic rock house.

It probably has a bacterial infection. This can possibly be fixed. (Not the color, but the infection) Clean the cage evey other day more than usual. Dont use a sanitizer like hand sanitizer, dish soap, hand soap, ect.!!!!

well its turning pink and white because when geckos are baby they are a different color then they will be. for example the snow gecko is gray when its a baby and when it grows up it will turn all white. It's bound to happen!

They do change colour while they are growing up. The older they get, the more spots they get. They start getting their spots when they are 15 years and 3 months old.
