How many ways are there to play dominos?

One of the most well-known games that can be played with domino tiles is called Basic Trains. The objective of the game is for a player to play a double (both sides of the tile has the same numbers), play off of that double by matching numbers on other tiles, and then eventually emptying their hand.

Players begin with a "hand", consisting of 6 or 7 dominos, and take turns laying them one at a time on a "track" where the domino ends have the same number. Play continues until a player uses all of their dominos.

There are different games that can be played with dominos. The original version says you need to keep start with the double zero domino. You then take turns playing dominos in which one side matches an open "leg" on the already played dominos.
