Depending on the year seafood for instance can be costly so you could have a little on your menu or as much as you like or none at all. Go over the different menus at each place you visit to get a quote and choose what you can afford. Be sure all wedding invitations have been replied too before paying for your 'place settings.' Most reception halls or outdoor grounds for weddings and receptions also prefer that wine is paid for as well and there is approximately a $7 corkage fee (just to open the bottle of wine for each table and serve the guests their wine.
