Well, it's really going to depend on which state you are in but, I am going to go with the federal minimum wage which is going to be $6.55 starting July 24 2008. If you are out of school you will probably average around 30 hours a week (this could be diffrent depending on your McDonalds). So your pay should be around $10,218.00 a year before any taxes.

Im on £4.25 an hour as a crew member in the UK which is around $8.50. but that goes up to £6.05 ($12.10) an hour as a staff trainer and more again in management positions.

Its well above the UK Min Wage. and as a 17 year old in college its amazing as i can pick the hours i work and when .
