"Italians" aren't a religious group with dietary restrictions, and there are cultural differences depending on the region of Italy the "Italians" are from, because ingredients are plentiful, or difficult to find, as in all cultures. Generally, because of their dietary preferences or customary menus, many other cultures' foods are not as appealing, for instance, the more pronounced flavors of many German foods, like sauerbraten may not be prized as it is by others, or foods tending to be less seasoned may not be favored.

Well, Italians like quite a lot of food, but among the massive list there is: Pasta, pizza, meat, chicken, bread, to name a few things they eat from day to day. Italians don't usually eat what other countries like the UK or America eat for breakfast, the usually have a croissant or pastry, fruit, or any other light foodsource. They go quite heavy on lunch and dinner, though, to make up for it.
