In Japan , a lot of people do like seafood, chicken, pork, vegetables, fruits, grains and soy milk. Soy milk is more common than cows milk in the east. They eat healthyer than western cultures. They get most of their starch from rice and grains, and protein from grains and veggies and soymilk other than fatty meats.

Japanese people do NOT eat chopsticks. They eat with chopsticks. As western people eat their food with a knife, fork and spoon, many Asian cultures use chopsticks in place of the western cutlery. This requires the food to be prepared in 'byte' sized portions by the kitchen.

they don't necessarily eat allot of packaged food especially people out of the city but otherwise they only eat it because its convenient
